Lion Electric and Lightning eMotors Request for Information

CALSTART is conducting a Request for Information (RFI) to better understand the availability and cost of maintenance services for Lion Electric and Lightning eMotors zero-emission school buses currently operating in California school districts. View our webpage on the RFI to learn more about response and submission requirements. Submissions are due May 27, 2026 at 5 p.m. PT. 

Lion Electric Mitigation

CALSTART’s Electric School Bus Network, WRI’s Electric School Bus Initiative and the Alliance for Electric School Buses are working together to understand the scope of needs from bus fleets that were engaged with Lion Electric and collect resources that could assist fleets.

If you have Lion Electric School Buses, were working with Lion Electric on incentive funding but have not yet received buses or have resources to share, please complete this form to share your information. We will then follow up with guidance and resources available to support your fleet.
